On the weekend of September 28-29, the Spanish federation (APSE) and one of the Italian organizations (COS) jointly signed a memorandum of intent concerning the mutual recognition of Shiatsu diplomas between their two organizations. Achieved under the auspices of the European Shiatsu Federation (FES), this means that graduates will be able to move from one country to another without being rejected by Shiatsu organizations, or having to start all over again.
This is an example to be followed everywhere, and a sign that it is possible to achieve good understanding between countries (bilateral agreements), while waiting for the day when we can obtain European regulations and recognition for Shiatsu.
