From February 21 to 23, 2025, the European Shiatsu Federation is organizing the 1st Shiatsu Symposium, which will be an essentially political meeting, in Brussels. Its aim is to discuss the politics, organization and development of Shiatsu at European level. To this end, in an unprecedented effort, 28 European countries will be represented by their representatives or personalities capable of federating their countries.
On the agenda: the development of new federations across Europe, particularly in Eastern and Central European countries. Recognition of Shiatsu diplomas by the European EQF system, for which Austria has already successfully passed all 4 levels (see this news item).
